It has a great price, but you get what you pay for. It has a very short stride. If you are looking for a cheap workout, it is a good machine. but do not be fooled by the "silent" part. It is not loud, but not exactly quiet either.

I purchased this item because the advertising said - The machine offers six pre-programmed workouts: fat burn, maximum fat burn, hill, interval, mountain, and aerobic. This machine DOES NOT come with these pre programmed workouts. I contacted both Stanima and Amazon about their advertising and they have corrected it some but still misleading. It now claims to have ... six pace-based workouts allow you to vary your activity to keep it fresh! Well please tell me where they are cause they aren't on my machine!!! I like the machine, it is quiet and easy to use, but did purchase it for the 6 pre programmed exercised that don't exist, except in the advertising. If you're looking for a machine without that function this one is it.

This machine is ok for the money but the foot petal keeps falling out. It has done it 3 times and I am now looking for ways to return it.

I really like this machine and feel it gives a great workout.This machine does not have any programs installed.The pulse monitor is very good and assembly was easy.I bought this model for budgetary purposes.I will purchase a higher quality in the future.
Good Machine with a few issues March 3, 2008
The machine is pretty solid and so far, hasn't been an issue at all. The only problem I have is that some of the pieces aren't set on the machine and when I was putting it together, I had to take some of it apart to fix what they messed up. Other than that, great machine.....
