 one minute replacement December 12, 2008
I was apprehensive about changing blades, I'm the normal throw it out and get a new one guy. I was extremely dismayed when I saw the childish diagram for instructions on replacing the blades. I now know why they used such a simple diagram, because it's that easy. Within a minute or so I have the blades replaced. I couldn't believe it, but there it was done and shaving beautifully. Don't hesitate about buying replacement blades, you'll end up with a shaver that's like new.
Norelco Tune Up December 8, 2008
Shaver was 5+ years old with original heads. Prompted by email from Norelco email, I bought replacement heads. Price was good and delivery was fast. Couldn't believe the improvement with the new heads. I had forgotten how good the Norelco shaver was until the new heads were installed. Recommend a very thorough cleaning of the part that holds the heads and be careful that each rotating blade stays with the head it came in since they are a matched set.
Like getting a brand new shaver for under $30!! Go for it.

Replacement head works great.Less expensive than a new razor. WalMart didn't stock item for LX.
Norelco replacement razor heads November 18, 2008
Norelco is a good product, and replacing heads after about two years of usage certainly improved performance.

I was able to get these Norelco replacement heads cheaper on Amazon.com than any of my local stores. Being that they are a somewhat expensive purchase, I tried to price them out before hand. And now that I have gotten them, it was worth the investment as my razor is like brand new and is shaving better.
