 Not perfect but okay November 10, 2008
There are two major problems with the sports cap: (1) it leaks a little, and (2) it makes a really bizarre chirping noise when I use it. People have asked if it was designed to also attract birds. The chirping is fine outdoors but not so great when I take my Klean Kanteen to class, but the leaking is really annoying if you tend to throw your water in your backpack or on the floor of your car. It isn't a huge leak (you won't have a puddle anywhere) but there will be enough water collected on the lid that it might drop onto you when you try to take a drink. Annoying.

Got the sports caps for out klean kanteen's because when we were driving it was not exactly the easiest thing to get a drink with the twist tops. The only real complaint I have is that sometimes if the bottle is on it's side in my bag, or has fallen completely upside down, there is water that has leaked out. So as long as you keep the bottle upright, these caps are great.

This sports cap works great with the Klean Kanteen bottles. It doesn't leak and is very well made and durable. We use and wash our bottles daily and love them

I bought this top so that my son could bring a small "Klean Kanteen" to lunch and drink his milk w/o spilling. The top is just OK, it is difficult to open and close (difficult for a 4-tear old anyway). I still like the idea of the Klean Kanteen but I feel the sport top could be better.
