All that you need!! August 8, 2008 I was searching for an inversion table for close to a year looking for the essential features and the best price. When I found the Body Champ on Amazon I knew the price was right. So I purchased it and got it in a matter of a few days. I have been on other brands in the past and found the Body Champ to have all the essential features I needed for basic inversion. If you are looking for an inversion table where you can do exercises on it or are a heavy or tall person (above 6 feet) then I would suggest an inversion table with a heavier base. This one is light weight which works for me because I can move it around. It did not work too well on a six foot tall friend of mine, or another one that tried to do sit ups on it. For me it works because all I want to do is to invert my body about 5 minutes a few times a week, which is all you really need to stretch your neck and spine. It has helped my neck problems tremendously.
Better than I had hoped! July 26, 2008 I looked at many low-priced inversion tables before buying this one. I am SO pleased. It is well-built with better quality than I expected. I love that it is light-weight. I looked at one from WalMart, that had a padded back board(the bed of this one is comfy), but the unit was much heavier. I can easliy lift this one, and yet it is very strongly made. I also like the foot area. I didn't think I wanted to deal with leg cuffs. This has a quick lease mechanism and the foam is comfortable. A few things I wondered about were could I get upright easily after being inverted, could I go to full vertical, and can it fold easily. Yes to all. Both my son and I have used it. We're 5'7-8" and 110 & 145 pounds. My son loves the uber situps he can do at the vertical position. I'm so glad I bought it.
My back & I LOVE it. July 25, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This inversion table turned out to be much better than I expected. The metal is a stronger guage steel (not extruded aluminum), the assembly was very simple and (YAY!) it works! So why only 4 stars? (No 4.5!) As is the case with products like this, the manufacturer is always making improvements. The trouble is, they fail to update the 'assembly instructions' which leads you into an immediate "missing parts" panic. Actually, a quick (toll free) call calmed me down. A quick revision of the manual (and a modification to an 'optional' safety ring) would give it a full 5 stars. Just build it. It will work. For the price, this was an excellent choice, including the (superior) 'quick release' foot assembly, not usually found in the lower priced models. An excellent choice.
