 GREAT RACQUET!! October 30, 2008
After years with a Dunlop 300 player's racquet, I demoed some new models from various manufacturers and settled on the Aeropro Drive Cortex from Babolat. I have been thrilled. Though I am not Mr. Top Spin, this racquet -- in concert with a X-Plosive natural gut/poly hybrid string from Klip -- has changed the nature of my game on several fronts. My topspin groundstrokes are much better. The racquet's generous sweet spot has improved the accuracy and consistency of my net game as well. And though some reviewers on tennis web sites have dinged the Aeropro on serves, I've found that after a period of adjustment my service game is more powerful, more consistent and more accurate than ever before. Plus, in concert with the hybrid gut strings, I'm finding my recurrent tennis elbow has virtually disappeared. I've been playing with the racquet for six weeks now, and I'm waiting to wake up from what seems like a dream. I hope I never do.

My son had researched many different tennis racquets and his coach recommended this one. The racquet is quite lightweight, and my son is serving better than ever.

Great tennis racquet! I had a Wilson nrage to get back into the game but this racquet is a big upgrade. The racquet still has alot of surface area and is forgiving. I noticed my one-handed backhand got more crisp and powerful with the Babolat, even when it is just a block. As far as my forehand, if you swing with lots of topspin and got power, get the racquet! I do wish I could of chose the tension and strings, but $ not bad for 155.00.
