The product looked good but it was not the one I ordered. I wanted the one shown in the picture. I returned it for a credit
 Comfortable, but July 4, 2008
Like most cheaper wrist weights, they are difficult to keep cleaning and from smelling because you can't remove the weights to wash. Rinsing them out or washing by hand creates a bit of a mess as the items inside for weight leak brown color when wet.
I'm a man and when I put these at the tightest with the straps, they do not stay on my wrists, I have to push them up my arms a bit. Obviously made for those who are more obese.
However, they are very very comfortable (soft) and have held up well with many long distance runs.

As another reviewer mentioned, I was also mislead by the product description on the website-I was under the impression that they were 3 lbs. each, instead of 1.5 lbs. That aside, the weights are well made and comfortable to wear on the ankles. Being on the small side, however, there's no way these work for me as wrist weights. They simply don't tighten enough--at the tightest fit they slide right off my hands.

This product is very well made and great design. The problem that I had was that Amazon.com didn't put very good information about the item. I bought this item because it said a 3 lbs. pair of weights. What they didn't say is that the two weights combined would be 3 lbs. They made it look like I was going to get two 3 lbs. weights instead of two 1.5 lbs. weights. Good product, but poor service from Amazon.com yet again. So know they are 1.5 lbs and not 3 lbs. each.
