Product Description The World's Most Convenient Home Gym: The Resistance Chair exercise system allows you to do a full body workout from a safe, comfortable seated position. Because you remain seated, you maintain balance and stability as you exercise your arms, chest, shoulders, abdomen, back, and legs. The patented Resistance Anchor Cable system offers a wide range of upper body and lower body exercises and provides smooth, low-impact resistance without use of heavy weights. Made with very strong, commercial-grade construction with thick-wall steel tubing. It's built to withstand frequent use in gyms and rehab centers and has been tested to easily hold over 400 pounds. Patented Resistance Anchor Cable exercise cables are easy to use and provide a low-impact workout that's easy on your joints. As you become stronger and wish to add more resistance, the Resistance Anchor Cables come in a wide range of resistance levels. Upper and lower "activity bays" along each side of the Chair allow you to position resistance anchor cables for a multitude of workout routines. With all four Resistance Anchor Cable exercise cables in place, you can alternate between using upper and lower activity bays without changing cables. Balance Bar handle along the top of the Chair gives you a place to hold on for support when doing standing exercises, such as calf raises or stepping exercises. Resistance Anchor Cable exercise cables snap on easily so you can change cables quickly to use a different resistance level. Lightweight and stores easily. Cable handles store conveniently on the Chair when not in use.

This is a pretty neat thing. You can do as much as you want or as little. The more you do, the better off you are. We will be ordering extra tension cords in 3-4 months. THis is a great product/great price for what you get out of it AWESOME!!!!
great compact home exercise system. July 3, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
sturdy, well packaged. Arrived in good shape from Isokinetics-all the way to Alaska. Doesn't take up a lot of room. Poster, DVD, helpful. Glad I saved up for this one! Well worth it.
Made for Senior by Seniors August 31, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I don't like to exercise because classes in the health clubs are full of young people who are extremely thin! All the videos I look at are the same - young people leading young people in exercises that are fit only for the young and fit.
The chair is easy to use. I've used it almost every day. A DVD comes with the chair that shows anyone how to set it up and how to use the chair. No screw drivers are needed. It stores easily on all 4 legs so it can't tip over. The exercises are easy. A chart which is included shows how to do the exercises. And the best thing about the chair and videos is that they show senior citizens, male and female doing the exercises.
great excercise machine March 22, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This resistance chair is perfect for me, as I have severe arthritis in my knees. It is super study--well made--it's great because it folds up like a regular folding chair for easy storage. I also bought the "short stroke bicycle attachment", but not through Amazon, since it wasn't available there. This is great because I can excersize my knees without putting all weight on them, which hurts. I saw the chair only advertised on TV for $400.00, and it got it for $239.00 from Amazon with NO shipping charge!! The bicycle attachment was $70.00. The whole thing is a great deal and is perfect for people who are overweight, have certain medical problems, elderly, etc.
Resistance Chair January 5, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
My dad just recently had a stroke. He has very little room for big exercise equipment. This chair is perfect for his needs-it folds up so it takes up very little room. The resistance bands attached to the chair give him a good workout. Overall, I am very pleased with this item.
