It is powder coated a lightly textured black for a slip resistant grip.The bar is 42" wide and hangs down 12" from the rafter. If you need a shorter or longer hanger, just let us know.All mounting hardware and instructions are included.Notice the texture, the offset mounting holes to prevent splitting the rafter and the tube closures at the end of the tube.
