As a result, lifters don't need a spotter to perform squats, bench presses, or shoulder presses, as the Jones acts as a self-spotter instead. Users can even add adjustable safety spotters for that extra measure of security. Lifters will also appreciate the unit's patented 3D barbell motion, which provides for an almost unlimited array of exercises. By engaging the spring pins along the bottom, lifters can lock the Jones into place at three different positions: front, middle, or rear. This allows for traditional Smith machine exercises without requiring an actual Smith machine.
