Product Description The GoFit Ultimate Burst Resistant Core Stability Ball is a fun, yet challenging way to stretch, tone and tighten your body. What makes the GoFit Ball so challenging? Unlike training on a stable, flat surface, the ball is a round, unstable surface, so you not only train the primary muscle groups, but also the smaller stabilizing muscles as well. The stabilizing muscles are small, yet very important muscle groups primarily used for balance, alignment and posture. The ball total body workout is very efficient, allowing you to see the results you want in a much quicker period of time. Combine the ball workout with the GoFit cardio vascular jump rope program and resistance tube training and you have a complete workout that can be done anywhere, anytime, and at a very affordable price. As a general rule, the exercise ball should be large enough so that when you sit on it, your knees bend at a 90 degree angle. The 65cm ball is recommended for most people height 5'6" to 6'tall. Suggested weight limit of 600lb. The burst resistant ball is recommended for persons who wish to combine light weight training with their stability ball workout. Comes with ball pump, 2 ball plugs and an easy to follow exercise wall poster. Also includes a 25-minute Linda Leene stability ball workout DVD. GoFit Stability balls are made of rubber and contain no Latex.

Several fatal design flaws August 28, 2008 The pump that comes with this ball is a joke. It's not one of those hand pumps, but rather a very cheap attempt to make a foot pump. It took forever to inflate the ball using the pump. After putting the plug in the ball I realized it still needed more air, but now the plug will not come out. I've had other excercise balls that managed to hold air without making it impossible to remove the plug. This is a poorly designed product.
I love this ball--wish I didn't have to buy it again!! August 11, 2008 I purchased this 65-inch purple ball well over a year ago and it improved my posture (I use it while on my computer at home) and replaced traditional chairs for me. I actually cried the day it burst (and it did burst and left me with a bruised head!), but I think it came in contact with a broken glass (we had our windows repaned) so I do not blame the ball for that.
I could not wait to replace it and ordered one I thought was the same, but it was not---though it claimed to be 65cm, I felt like my knees hit my chin each time I used it. The reason the GoFit ball is my favorite (and I am reordering it) is the strength of the ball--it holds more weight and holds it better.
I took off one star for the 'bursting' experience--the ball was there one second, and gone the next. That could be devestating for a pregnant woman.
This Ball survived Toes ..... June 1, 2008 I am 6' tall. This ball is a perfect fit. It took about 5 minutes to pump up completely and plug (I got a couple EXTRA plugs - which I appreciate greatly). I've done a few workouts on it per week and it's performed perfectly! I have this cat, her name is Toes. She is constantly messing with my weights and getting on my bench while I work out. I just lay my head on her and she eventually leaves. I knew the ball was going to be interesting to her. Sure enough, she's tried to pull the plug out and she used her claws. She has been up on the ball a couple of times. It's still hole-free (WOOHOO!) and working just fine!
WARNING! This ball EXPLODED while on it March 11, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have used and enjoyed this ball as my work chair for the last year due to back problems. When I researched available therapy balls, I specifically looked for the ANTI-BURST versions. They are supposed to be safe and function similar to tires that are punctured -- slowly lose air so there is no violent explosion.
This morning while working at my computer, there was a huge bang, and I crashed to the floor after my ball completely and violently EXPLODED. A half a dozen colleagues came running because they had no idea what could have caused so much commotion.
Moreover, I'm in my final week of physical therapy and I shutter to think what the impact of this fall directly on the base of my spinal column is going to do to me over the next few weeks and months.
I'm furious that the ANTI-BURST proclamation obviously meant nothing. I strongly warn others about this false claim.
