slightly defective.. October 1, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My powerball came with a slightly defective mechanism or groove inside the ball, it isn't as smooth as my other powerball.
nice product... does workout the arm May 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have the powerball version and it does work. although i can only start it by using the string. once started, i am able to rev the thing up and it does provide a workout. the resistance is there and i do feel the burn to my arm.
i'd feel strange if i left home without mine March 24, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
i can't believe i'm writing a review.. i like this thing *that* much.
you'd think i was being paid... but i'm not
i've really got into integrating this into some of my daily exercises. if you can "pat your head and rub your belly" at the same time, then you can really add a new level of intensity to cardio routines and certain kinds of plyometrics
i have a close group of friends and so novelty spreads like wildfire ... once one of us got one it seems like almost half of us went out and got one shortly afterward
i'd be real sad if it were lost or stolen..

BE CAREFUL January 19, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This item is a great item that is fun and works out your arms so great that it feels like they will fall off. Although when i bought the item i thought that i was buying the highest end gyro ,Powerball Blue, with speeds of up to 18000rpm and 40lbs resistance. This is simply a cheaper gyro that they applied blue lights to and called the powerball blue since it only has 32-35 lbs resistance and speeds up to 13000rpm. So make sure you know what you are buying because it was a big mistake for me
