Best rack, and the best price November 15, 2008 For a home gym like ours, I just need to hold a complete set from 10-50#. This holds it all perfectly, and within easy reach compared to the other rack I had (straight tower). No more smashed fingers. And incredibly, I was worried that a full set would make it a bit wobbly, but even with me standing on the middle tier (another 230lbs) it is still ROCK solid! Assembly took 10 minutes with the help of our 6yo and a power socket drill. Amazing buy, highly recommended!
Solidly built, as advertised October 15, 2008 After reading several reviews for various dumbbell racks, I finally settled on this product. It is well built for a home gym, easy to put together, and looks professional. Hex type weights are the best fit. Once you move to smaller "plastic or vinyl covered" weights, they do not fit as well.
Overall, I am very pleased and feel the rack was well worth the money!
dumbbell rack September 16, 2008 Looked at several differant types of racks, this one has proven to be very good quality and easy to put together. Would highly reccomend product and amazon. I paid $87.00 and no shipping.
Dumbbell Rack September 7, 2008 Rack is just what I needed. It's sturdy and holds a set of dumbbells nicely. It's small enough to not take up a lot of room but still big enough to do the job.
Great rack for the price July 20, 2008 I recently got this dumbbell rack and couldn't be happier. I have two cats and dumbbells ranging from 5 to 45 lbs. Anyone who has cats knows that that combo is a recipe for great gobs of cat fur collecting under the weights and no matter how often you vaccuum or sweep, it somehow manages to recongregate. This rack gets all the dumbbells off the floor, preventing the collection of fur and other dirt, and makes the weights a lot more accessible.
The one comment to add to those of the others here is that this rack really only works well with hexagonal dumbbells. I had two round-bell 10-pound dumbbells and when I tried to place them on the rack, they slipped off and fell. So I've had to replace them. I prefer the hexagonals anyway, but if you have nothing but round-bell weights, you might want to look at a different design. But if you have the standard hexagonals, you'll love this. It is compact, solid, and surprisingly solid for the price. Plus, if you are a Amazon Prime member, it will ship for free, which is pretty amazing given its weight. I highly recommend this rack.
