Foam Roller August 29, 2008 Received very prompt and using this everyday to ease IT issues and hams from cycling/running
Feeling Looser August 23, 2008 I love rolling on this thing, especially on my mid-back because I can hear and feel my spine re-aligning. It hasn't quite help my trigger points as of yet, but I am hoping it will at least relieve a few. The product itself is great quality. It's very dense and sturdy. I read reviews of other brands and learned that they can lose it's shape. But so far so good. Be careful when you first roll on them because they are quite hard. Read the instructions before use, but if you prefer watching demonstrations like me, go to YouTube.
Satisfied Customer August 10, 2008 I purchased this product because my 21-year old son had injured his back when he was weight lifting. He had to go to physical therapy and had used a similar foam roller during his therapy. He now uses this roller everyday as part of his stretching exercise and is very happy with it.
A Good Buy! July 27, 2008 This product is a great buy for any athlete looking to become more flexible and to work your muscles after a hard workout. I run, I bike, and I swim a bit and this roller really helped to work the stress out of my legs after a run. Definitely recommend for the athletes that use their legs plenty.
Great for IT Band July 13, 2008 I am extremely happy with this product. I have been just starting to run on a regular basis and my knee began to hurt in a way that I had never experienced before (like I had pulled something on the inside of it). A friend suggested that I might have pulled my Iliotibial (IT) Band and suggested that I get a roller for some stretching.
After doing some online research on IT Band Syndrome, it seemed like that is what I had and most of the advice I found suggested rest and stretching with a roller. After doing some further research on rollers I ended up ordering this product. It has worked fantastic. I went with the firmest model because my research indicated that it would provide the quickest/best results. The downside is that stretching with this is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but you can literally feel it working so it's worth it in my mind. The stretching instructions that came with the roller are a huge plus. In just a couple of days I could go out and run again with no problems and now I use it before and after a run to keep everything loose. The ability to use it on my back and other muscles is a definitely another great reason to get it. I've pretty much always hated stretching but this makes it almost enjoyable.
On a side note, the shipping was super-fast. I used standard shipping and got the product the same day confirmation went out that it was sent to me. I don't know if that is normal, but it certainly was appreciated.
