It does exactly what I want it to; it allows me to pull more weight without putting too much strain my wrists. I have been able to add 60+ lbs almost immediately to all my back exercises. The only reason I give it four stars and not five is after using it for 2 month I see a bit of deterioration on the hooks, so I think I will be able to use these for a year or so before buying new ones.

This is a great product, I hope that the neck developer that I just ordered from apt is as well made as these. These allow me to do bent over rows, deadlifts, and some other heavy duty power lifting...Usually my grip strength would fail before the target muscle area (lats)without the assistance of these. I used these to do >500 lb hammer strengths rows and they handled it with no problem. My only complaint is that they are a bit bulky, and you'll only want to strap them on during the specific exercises you need them. Thats not really a complaint, though, keep in mind that these are HEAVY DUTY.

I have sever carpal tunnel, which significantly limits the coordination and strength in my hands. Due to this, I have found it difficult to do physical therapy or workout because of the strength loss and related pain in my hands and wrists. I have tried many products that were designed to assist in lifting (including those prescribed by my doctors), but found them difficult to use, innefective and/or caused me additional pain. These gloves provided the perfect solution to my situation. They pad the wrist and allow for heavier lifting where the weight is redistributed to other muscle groups rather than your hands having to hold all the weight. I would reccomend them to anyone who has carpal tunnel or other injury to their hands.
