Product Description For centuries, yoga masters have known the heeling power of inversion. Visit just about any Yoga facility in the world and you will find an apparatus similar to, if not identical to the Yoga Stand. The power of inversion comes from several aspects of our bodies. We are accustomed to either standing, sitting, or lying down. So our organs become accustomed to this constant pull of gravity in the same direction. Most importantly, our vascular systems work hard to pump blood to the head, fighting gravity in order to cause the blood to travel to the head. With the Yoda Stand gravity is now working in favor of your vascular system and your organs get to experience relief from the strain of gravity: Features: Relaxation. Easy Storage. Easy to 2 steps to use. Measures: 30" x 7" x 21.75". Weighs: 18.40 lbs.

Great for all ages! December 1, 2008 The Yoga lift has become part of my every day routine. I used to have chronic neck pain and shoulder pain from a pinched nerve. Now I spend about 3-5 minutes a day upside down and my neck pain has been reduced and even eliminated most days dramatically.
inversion chair for yoga November 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tried the other inversion chair that has 4 rigid legs before buying this one. The rigid-legged chair has a smaller footprint and is a little tippy if you practice scorpion on it. This one folds up, so I take it to yoga class and have my students work with it. This inversion chair also is lower to the ground and seems friendlier to my students. It's also half the price of the solid chair. The quality is decent, you just have to pay attention to the lock pins and make sure they're all the way through the tube before you execute your inversions. This is a good deal. You will develop more confidence in your yoga practice. Buy this for yourself!
Ease the difficulty September 15, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I don't write many reviews but I am making an exception for this item. I am in my early 50's and I like to challenge myself while staying safe. I bought this unit a little over a year ago and am still using it. This stand is relatively small, sturdy and well padded. I was amazed how the headstand, a yoga pose that was relatively difficult and challenging, for me, was made so much easier with this prop. For me, the need for a mirror was crucial in the beginning to verify true verticality and not my perception of it. It takes me about three minutes to set it up and the same to fold and put away. The padding is great for holding the pose in comfort. I bought my stand for $50 with free shipping from this website and thought it was a good deal until I read Eduardo Nietzsche's review indicating an even cheaper one. More importantly, instead of adding my review right away, I decided to try the headstand before going to bed. Although, I have no trouble falling or staying asleep, I benefited from this suggestion and am grateful for it. Perhaps the muscles tensing to hold the pose is enough to induce consequent relaxation leading to an even faster and deeper sleep. In conclusion, it you are going to make this stand part of your regular exercise program, it is a good item and I hope that you will enjoy it!
Fun and easy to use August 28, 2008 I love this product. I have always been afraid to try too many inversions but this product allows me to have the benefit of the inverted poses and still feel very safe. I am also a Yoga teacher and my students are benefiting from this as well. My Yoga room is mostly mirrored so we don't have much wall space to practice inversions. With this, we don't need it.
FAAAAAAA-BULOUS! July 22, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This was one of the best personal well-being investments I've ever made. I try to use it every night just before bed, and it really does help me sleep like a baby. Have had chronic neck and shoulder/trapezius stiffness and tightness for years, which have pretty much subsided ever since I started using this nifty little device.
Love that it comes fully assembled, you just take it out of the box and unfold it...ta da! Nice solid build quality---I guess the manufacturer/distributor didn't want anyone to sue them, lol.
Am recommending this for all my friends and family. Unless you're 5 or 10 years old, doing a normal headstand, even with a wall supporting you, is much much harder. I was able to progress from 30 seconds at a time to 5 minutes at a time within a week (use a cooking countdown timer), and hope to work up to the maximum recommended inversion time of 12 minutes within the end of the month.
btw, you can get this same bench for twenty five bucks plus ten bucks ground shipping at gadgetuniverse dot com.
