Product Description
Amazon.com Product Description Isolating each finger so it can be exercised individually, the patented Gripmaster strengthens hands, wrist, and forearm with spring-loaded piston technology while ensuring the palm doesn't slip from a molded grip. This model offers heavy tension (nine pounds per finger) and is recommended for men for extra-strong hands. Sturdy and highly durable, the Gripmaster easily fits in pocket or purse, enabling hand exercise anytime, anywhere. A few daily workouts with the Gripmaster Pro and you'll enjoy better control of a baseball/softball bat, tennis racquet, or golf club, with each finger working in seamless unity with the others. You'll also find a ton of other uses for the Gripmaster Pro, including playing guitar or violin, rock climbing, bowling, target shooting, martial arts, yoga, or even relieving stress while clicking a mouse or gaming for hours on end. Exercising with the Gripmaster is the most efficient and effective way to maintain the health and conditioning of the hand. It's the ideal way to maintain the suppleness and flexibility of the hand to prevent injury. Each finger of the hand is powered by a completely separate system of muscles and tendons located in the hand, wrist, and forearm. The ability to control the ball or control the bat, racquet, or club all starts with the hands. Your hand is really five separate systems which work in seamless unity. The only way to develop superior strength, endurance, and coordination in your hands is to challenge and develop each finger individually. Once you exercise with Gripmaster you'll notice a difference almost immediately.

Great Product March 9, 2010 Ramon Maghsoudi (Bay Area, CA) I bought it about 2 weeks ago and keep it in my office. It's a fun exercise while you work. I wish they had one heavier than 9 pounds. Overall, great product, good quality, great price!
Too little resistance March 4, 2010 Jason Sheets (Boise, ID) This is well constructed and works well for strengthening individual fingers but if you've trained trip at all will be too low of a resistance.
I've moved on to the captains of crush #1 gripper.
Gripmaster Light Tension 5 pounds Nice! March 3, 2010 Coffee Lover Great for guitar players or any string instrument. It's a real work out for your fingers when you press down on each button one finger at a time. The excercise where you make a full fist pressing on all buttons, might feel light to some, the key lies in the repetitions. If you have really strong fingers you might want to get one with higher tension. I've used it for two months and my fingers hold down the strings very well, plus they don't get tired. It's great for the F Chord.
Excellent Product for Individual Hand and Finger Conditioning March 1, 2010 M. Khan (USA) I picked this up about a week ago and find that with a few days of use, it has already made a difference.
Typically, hand strengthening exercisers develop the palms, but not the individual fingers. With this unit, I am able to isolate individual fingers and help to build their strengths and stamina. The unique design also allows for increasing the palms strength.
If you practice the martial arts, you will find that using this over the course of the day allows for a passive workout (which is also great as you deal with the stresses of the day!) between classes.
The other great side benefit of this unit, is that it helps me address my overall health. It may only be my experience, however I noticed that with a few repitions, my sinus' cleared up and most of my headache was gone. I am personally convinced that pressure points in my hands contribute to my overall well being and this unit is great to isolate specific points.
Highly recommended overall as a product that delivers more than promised!
