Product Description Direct from manufacturer pricing means you save more. 1 year warranty from Isokinetics Inc. Made of high quality 1" chrome-plated steel tubing, with 4 flat-bottom rubber feet to grip the floor, and adjustable pedal straps to keep your feet in place, we tested many models before carefully choosing this one. This model has solid construction, sturdy feet and an effective resistance knob that provides a full resistance range, from light to noticeably stiff, something we did not find on some other competitive models. This means our pedal exerciser is appropriate for elderly exercise as well as for those who might want a more aerobic workout. Can be used for upper body exercises by placing it on a table and using your arms, or for lower body exercises placed on the floor and pedaled with your feet. At 5 pounds, it is easy to move around and store. Sit with legs at close to a 90 degree angle. Start your exercise program slowly and gradually work up to 20 minutes of exercise at least 3 times a week. Please note that like all pedal exercisers of this design, the resistance knob housing can become hot after using vigorously, so take care when touching after heavy use. We found it does not heat up much when used at lower resistance levels. Don't overdo! ALWAYS consult a physician before beginning this, or any other, exercise program. If you decide to upgrade your pedaler, be sure to check out our Deluxe and Magnetic models, which we also bring direct to you from the manufacturer.

Don't waste your money. September 4, 2008 You get what you pay for. On the 10th use of this piece of equipment the weld came apart and it broke apart. Don't waste your money.
Learning to pedal a bike August 16, 2008 I gave this pedaler to my son to use. So he can learn how to pedal a bicycle. He likes it and wants to try and ride his bike more. Hey it was cheap But worth it. Plus it was already put together, how nice is that.
peddler August 12, 2008 product is great and well made. worth the money and comes in handy with my work.
pedal exerciser is great August 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The pedal exerciser I purchased for my father works wonderfully. He can adjust the tension and the rubber feet keep it in place as he pedals. It's great because it allows my dad to get the benefit of a stationary bike without the possibility of losing his balance as he gets on and off one. He simply puts it in front of his chair and starts pedaling. In less than one week he can already feel his muscle tone improving. My mother likes to use it for her arms, too. They are both quite pleased with it.
Decent August 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this hoping to use it at my desk while I work. Unfortunately, my knees hit the underside of the desk when I pedal, so I can't do that. Instead I use it while watching TV. I don't think it will ever be all that aerobic of a workout, but it's good for what it is, getting me to move a little when I'd otherwise be sitting on the couch doing nothing.
