What's in the Box? Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike, owner's manual About Recumbent Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. The term recumbent literally means "lying down." Exercising in a recumbent or reclining position allows the user to have full ergonomic back support, without causing strain on the arms, neck and shoulders, all of which can be common effects of using an upright bicycle. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.

Stamina 15-4755 August 26, 2008 I purchased the model 15-4755 which I believe is a little newer model than the 15-4600. While the bike is fairly easy to assamble it feels cheap. The seat feels confortable for about half an hour at most, I always used an extra cushion. I had been using it barely about 4 months for maybe 3 times a week, when it started to make a loud noise and then there was no resistance on the pedals. I called customer service and they inform me that the owner's manual clearly states that the warraty period is 90 days. I argued that they surely expect their products to last more than 4 months and they repeated that the warranty is 90 days. I had to take the bike apart, found out the belt was cut and twisted and had came out of the wheel. I had to order a new one for $10.00 + $2.95 S+H and then figure out how to replace it. Whith this quality and service I would not recommend this bike to anyone. Thinking about it 2 stars is too generous, but I can't change it.
Only a month? August 9, 2008 I can't believe it was only a month ago that I bought this bike. I have enjoyed it tremendously and have already put almost 150 miles on it. It is small and quiet enough that I could set it up in my living room so that I can watch television and DVD's while riding. I come in from the office, change into some exercise clothes or pajamas, turn on the TV, reset the monitor and start going. I have been riding it for 50 minutes almost every day for the month since I set it up. It wasn't hard to set up, had I not done it on the floor in my tiny living room with the television on it would have been much quicker. Mine did not come with the promised tools, but I happened to have some handy and was able to put it together without difficulty in about 45 minutes (had I not been distracted by a television program I would have completed in 30 minutes or less.) The only complaint I have is that the middle part of the bike where the length is set moves a very little bit while I ride. Otherwise it is a very solid piece of equipment and very quiet. The monitor is easy to understand. The length and the resistance are easy to set. I can't say enough about how much I am enjoying this and what a wonderful purchase it has been. I have recommended it to my friends already.
Worked very well for me July 10, 2008 Stamina 15-4600A Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike
The bike was easy to assemble and it has really worked well for me. I have a disability and it is easy to get on to and I am able to use it with out much effort. The only downfall is the meter it is very hard to read when sitting on the bike and the straps on the pedals do not stay hooked.
cheap, quiet, good workout machine June 24, 2008 i love this product as it provided a super-quiet and good workout. the price is cheap and assembly is less than 1 hr. i really enjoy this machine.
Stamina 15-4600A Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike June 21, 2008 Stamina 15-4600A Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike
Arrived on time, east to assemble (30 minutes) best buy for the buck. I use it daily 30 minutes at a crack. The seat pading is thin but considering the price it will do, push comes to shove it could be be recovered with added foam for your tush.
