A heavy flywheel alone wont give you the smooth pedaling feel because weight is only part of a quality flywheel - size, weight distribution, pulley ratios and the location of the conductive ring all need to be considered, so they started with an oversized 305 mm flywheel over 12 in diameter and put the conductive ring on the outside of the flywheel to maximize the inertia and the coverage area of the conductive ring. The LifeSpan C2 Exercise Bike uses a 3 piece crank set, high quality sealed bearings, reinforced Poly-V belt and high quality pedals to transfer your workout energy quietly and smoothly to the flywheel and the oversized magnet carrier that provides frictionless resistance. The result is a durable system with no weak links.

Solidly built but heavy. Reasonably comfortable, not too hard to assemble, though the instruction diagrams aren't the best. Seems like it will last a long time. Fairly quiet. Good choice for the larger person.

Bought this bike along with a treadmill (see other reviews)...Wanted a bike that I could use to go along with my treadmill workouts. I bought this mostly becasue of the warranty and user weight. I was not looking for bells and whistles so this fit the bill. I do not use this as much ast the treadmill. It has very comfortable seat and is quiet.
