About Exercise Bikes
Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.

3 out of 5 stars just another bike   October 12, 2008
I bought this bikes because of the reviews.I wanted to invest in a good bike. I feel this bike is too expensive, we are just paying for the brand but cheaper bikes can do the same job. this bike is not for people who are shorter than 5.7. assemble instructions are of no help you have to guess.if I had the option I'd try to buy another one.

5 out of 5 stars Happy biker   September 30, 2008
I have been committed to fitness for more than 50 years, have had memberships in fitness clubs for more than 30 years, have tried all equipment, and still rate the Schwinn Airdyne upright exercise bike the best total-body exercise. I recommend it for everyone, no matter what age. If you can sit up, you can work out at your own personal level on a Schwinn.

5 out of 5 stars Schwinn Airdyne   September 26, 2008
This is our 2nd Schwinn Airdyne. My spouse swears this is the best exercise bike he's ever owned. Took this husband-wife team 'too long' to put together only because we did it as a 'team.' :) One thing that we're not pleased with is how the computer attaches to the bike. We could only get one tube totally attached. Not even sure this computer goes with this model but it works. Just hope it stays on! AFB Freight out of Rocky Mount, NC was wonderful!
