Product Description The Mag Plus trainer features smooth, quiet and powerful adjustable magnetic resistance. Use the handlebar mounted control lever to select from 5 levels of pedaling resistance ranging from spinning warm up easy to leg crunching hard climb. The powder coated finish steel frame is designed to remain stable under the most vigorous of efforts and the rubber feet dampen noise and vibration. Attach or remove your bike in seconds with a few quick turns of the blocking mechanism. The mounting cups are plastic lined to protect your skewer, we also include a skewer to insure proper fit. The frame folds for easy storage or transport. Compatible with most road and mountain bike designs.

Difficult to use May 25, 2008 Too much effort needed to put to use - diagrams with directions difficult to follow as well.
good trainer for the $ March 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
good trainer for the money. we (my wife and i) use this 4-5 times a week and have no problems. we only use about 3 of the 5 different levels but it is a nice feature to have. it's not too loud, we watch tv while we bike. if you want a good trainer without spending big bucks then this is it. if you have a bunch of money to spend then i don't know what to tell you!

We are very happy with this trainer. The product was shipped promptly, easy to install and works great! Very cool way to ride during these cold winter months.
Works as it should and inexpensive December 19, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Product gets 5 stars but Nashbar should only get 2 stars. When I finally received the product, it was as expected. Have been using it daily for over a week and works well. Easy to setup and the handlebar tension control is handy (pun intended).
Though the product is good so far, I can't say the same for Nashbar service and customer service. I was originally shipped the wrong product. I called to report the problem and the rep seemed quite unresponsive and unsympathetic. It took 4 calls total to get a shipping label to return the incorrect product and an additional credit card charge to receive the proper product. I could have waited 2 additional weeks for the credit and return to go through but would have rather just purchased a more expensive model from my local bike shop for convenience.
All-in-all, good product, decent price but horrible service.
