This ball is perfect for doing the Bender Ball Core workout, pretty much the same thing as what is in the informercial.

Great ball at a fraction of the price July 6, 2008
I bought this ball shortly after my GF saw an infomercial on TV. This is a great, sturdy, exercise ball at a fraction of the price it goes for on TV. My GF uses it everday & has never had a problem with it. If you're looking for something to help you with your cruntches this might be the way.

The ball is very easy to assemble. It's soft and supple. It's just a big disappointment because as I try to exercise with it, it slips all over the place and my exercise efforts are completely defeated.

Really good piece of equipment. It does take some pressure off the back allowing for better crunches. Make sure you get the size that will fit you the best. I went for the 65, I think the biggest they had, which turned out to be a little big but well worth it. I've had it for more than 4 months now. I can easily do 100 crunches at a time now. Just need to motivate yourself to practice.
