This product to me is an alright product. I've been using it at 99 on the fourth level for the last 3 months. In order to get the washboard abs you are looking for you have to diet and exercise, which is something they fail to mention in the commercials. I work my midsection at a gym regularly and use the slendertone in between visits and I will say in my part that it does supplement the build up of core strength, and my abs are looking the best they have been in years.
Effective, but odd pricing on the gel pads October 26, 2008
I have used both a Gymbody and now the System Abs. There is no question these products do not remove fat from your body. If you've got a set of love handles or a full blown spare tire, this product does not get rid of it. What it does is help you tone your abs. From my own experience, I know it's true [as the surgeon who installed a PEG feeding tube into my stomach told my wife: "Your husband has the stomach muscles of a 20-year-old." I am 53]. Does it replace situps and crunches and exercise wheels? No. But it sure makes those things more effective. But here's my question: why is it cheaper to buy the replacement gel pads by the single-pack, as opposed to the three-pack? Not by much mind you, but still cheaper [as of 10.26.08].

Replacement Pads August 19, 2008
Didn't buy these for myself, rather for my girlfriend, who has the belt these pads are used for. She swears by the belt and these pads are the exact replacement pads, so she was happy. As long as she's happy, I'm happy, but since I didn't try these out myself, I can not rate them any higher than 4 stars.

this equipment possibly tightens muscles, but it does not make your abs look tighter if there is any fat on top.
