Product Description BOSU Balance Trainer
Amazon.com Product Description From the elite athlete to weekend warriors trying to stay in shape, this Bosu Balance Trainer helps to strengthen and coordinate your body (including the muscles that you don't see). The trainer targets the core muscles of your body--those muscles around your abdominal and back area--helping you to not only gain strength, trim, and tone, but to help coordinate your entire body. This set includes a blue Bosu balance trainer, a workout DVD, a pump, and an exercise manual that will help get you started. About Bosu Training The BOSU acronym stands for "Both Sides Utilized" and has evolved beyond the original BOSU Balance Trainer product. It now represents an approach to exercise that is more mindful than traditional training. At its essence, BOSU Training is about expanding movement capabilities while reshaping the body and strengthening the mind. It is comprised of thoughtful movement that requires the participant to not only be physically involved, but also "here and present" with the mind fully engaged. BOSU Training can be physically demanding, but when properly taught, it is appropriate to a variety of fitness levels and physical capabilities. Use BOSU Training to help enhance performance across a wide continuum of activities including sport, recreation, and daily tasks.

I love it. May 19, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought the Bosu Balance Trainer because I have noticed in recent years that my balance is not as good as it once was (I'm in my 70s).
I use it every morning while watching the news on TV. Been following the steps specified in the directions for becoming comfortable with it and I am improving. It is so convenient to be able to pick it up and put it where you want it.
The quality is excellent. It took a few tries to blow it up and get the plug in the hole as fast as possible, but I succeeded.
I love my Bosu. It is exactly what I had wanted.
Great Workout Device April 1, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My trainer has me using one at the gym. I decided to get one for the house. Everyone uses it. Very good for maintaining balance and fast twitch muscle tone which is important for us "over 50's" to maintain our balance and core strength.
Wonderful and versatile! August 31, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I first started using this at the gym. My trainer has me to use it for crunches, step ups, leg lifts, and standing squats. I bought one for myself and keep it at my office. I can get a 'mini' workout everyday. Using the ball keeps the stress off my back, it keeps my form correct. I would highly recommend it.
Great for those with knee problems May 12, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My physical therapist introduced me to the BOSU. It is excellent for strenghtening and stabilization. I've had surgery on my knee and the BOSU contributed to my recovery.
great for balance January 12, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Recommended to me by my trainer at the gym to improve my balance (I'm in my late 50's) and have enjoyed it tremendously. Takes a while to get the hang of it; great results.
