Product Description Ideal for stretching and toning at home, the 75-Centimeter Burst-Resistant Body Ball from Valeo will help improve core strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and muscle tone. Sitting on the body ball forces your body to stay balanced, which then strengthens the stabilizing muscles. As a result, your body alignment improves while also allowing for a more effective workout with greater stability and balance as you move through the exercises. The ball includes a workout DVD and air pump. Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth.

Body Ball November 25, 2008 While the delivery was prompt, this ball does not inflate properly and creates an egg shape versus a rounded shape, making it very difficult to achieve the proper positioning for some exercises.
Decent ball for the price, or it used to be. November 24, 2008 I bought 4 of these at a cheaper sale price, and if they were at the same price I would buy more.
Pump is lousy, and the ball does stretch, which makes it seem like it loses air. It might also lose air, too, that would not surprise me given how cheaply produced this line is. And it's good that it stretches, it makes it more comfortable.
But the cost/benefit ratio is good. Or at least it was.
But if this is the new price, then it's still a decent ball. Gray, not some ugly garish color. 75cm, not some smaller crap, since when it stretches you will want the extra cushion. Very stinky, but as usual that fades over time.
Good product October 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm happy with it, mine is holding air just fine. I like the metallic grey color. The pump isn't great but it did the job, I would recommend using an electric pump if you have one.
Ball leaks, pump designed poorly -- definitely not recommended October 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a very disappointing purchase. I purchased this brand because of its advertised "burst resistance" -- and while it hasn't "burst" it has slowly fizzled.
I bought it for my office, both as a way to fit in ab crunches at work and as an occasional alternative to sitting in a hard office chair. Once inflated it seemed perfect. Unfortunately, after a couple of days it had deflated significatly. I pumped it back up, and made sure that the plug was secure, but when I returned the next day it had once again deflated.
Obviously there is a slow leak somewhere. I am confident that this was not my fault -- since my office floor is clean and carpeted.
Another flaw in the product was highlighted for me when I had to inflate the ball a second time. While it was a pain the first time, I didn't care since I didn't think I'd have to do it again. But the second time reminded me that it is a pretty tedious process, since the pump doesn't pack a lot of air. You have to pump hundreds of times and it takes at least ten minutes working fairly quickly. What's more, the nozzle end of the pump needs to be held tight against the hole in order to prevent air from leaking as you are pumping -- but since the nozzle is smooth it is hard to get a grip on it so you have to hold very tightly, and it still slips out fairly often. Even worse, as I was holding the nozzle in and trying to pump, my hand kept getting pinched. Like another reviewer of this project, I found that the skin between my thumb and forefinger was red and raw by the time I got the ball pumped up.
I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone -- even if I just happened to get a defective ball, the poor design of the pump gives reason enough to select a different brand.
Ball + Pump - September 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The ball seems fine, though the material is thinner than my other burst resistant ball. The pump however is terrible. It does pump up the ball but "high volume" it isn't. This is the worst designed pumps I have ever seen. While pumping it has to be held firmly down by the nonpumping hand. However, the handle for holding it means your hand slips down towards the ball, and it's way to short to fit into my or my friends hand (and she has small hands), so we could only use two fingers and a thumb. When finished, which was done in spurts, my finger was red and sore. Hopefully the ball will last.
