Perhaps most conveniently, the bike offers a multifunction LCD monitor that tracks your workout time, speed, distance, and calories burned, along with an adjustable resistance system that lets you easily increase or decrease your workout intensity. Other details include an adjustable seat that fits various user heights, a quiet motor, and a cushioned seat and seat back. The bike measures 43 to 47 inches long, 25 inches wide, and 41 to 43 inches tall. About Recumbent Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. The term recumbent literally means "lying down." Exercising in a recumbent or reclining position allows the user to have full ergonomic back support, without causing strain on the arms, neck and shoulders, all of which can be common effects of using an upright bicycle. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.

Nice if it worked November 24, 2008 I bought this bike for my son to use to get some exercise after being in the hospital for five weeks. It started making a grinding sound after 2 days. We took it apart to try and adjust it. It worked for about a day and then went back to grinding. I would have sent it back but I threw the box out right away assuming it would work.
recumbent bike October 20, 2008 Good bike for the money. Easy to put together and not too heavy. The bolts were already in place, you just have to unscrew them and then screw the pieces together (makes it easy to see where the bolts are supposed to go).It does seem the bike is made for shorter, smaller people. Many bikes are too long and this makes it hard for me to reach the pedals - I am 5'3. I had no problem with this bike. The seat is uncomfortable, reminds me of a real bicycle seat. I detected a slight popping sound while cycling the first two times I used the bike, but now it seems to have stopped. I don't know if the displays are accurate or not. But, so far I am pleased with the purchase. Many of you probably already know this, but I noticed I burned more calories if I didn't hold onto the handle bars - the whole body gets more into the cycling.
I like the bike! October 15, 2008 This exercise bike is exactly what I needed. It meets my needs very well: it is inexpensive, it was easy to assemble, it doesn't take up much space, and it is silent during use so I can watch TV while I use it. The electronics show distance pedaled, speed, calories burned and something else I can't remember off hand. It's a great buy. I researched lots of user reviews on Amazon before I bought it.
Great product for great price! October 10, 2008 Purchased this recumbent bike a couple of months ago to help me rehab after breaking my foot. I actually ordered it from Bayou Fitness (a site I highly recommend for fitness related equipment) and shipping was free. I assembled the bike myself in about 30 minutes-if I can do that then anyone can! It is extremely quiet and provides a decent workout for my legs while I'm watching tv. It takes up far less space then my traditional bike that I had propped up on a trainer so I'm very grateful for that. This is an affordable and practical piece of equipment and I'm glad I purcahsed it.
Great workout, easy on the joints! September 29, 2008 I have degenerative disc disease as well as severe osteoarthritis. Exercising had become too painful and even walking was very difficult. I have always been active and was almost desperate to find a form of exercise that didn`t hurt and cost a bundle. I found the Intone Recumbent Folding Exercise bike and it is wonderful! The angle of the pedals and the supportive seat are exactly what I needed. Now I can get a good cardiovascular workout as well as toning my lower body and abs. I am able to use light free weights while riding for a complete workout. I also read while riding and the time goes by very quickly! I highly recommend this peice of exercise equipment!
