Garmin Friction Dashboard Mount for Nuvi GPS January 8, 2009
This is a great product. It holds the GPS securely in place without any damage to the car or having to mount it on anything. It's easy to move while on the dasboard if needed and the tilt feature is great for easy viewing of the GPS screen. It comes apart so I can hide/stow it out of site. Excellent product January 8, 2009
This mount works much better than the mounts that stick to your dash or windshield. It also makes it easy to use your GPS in different cars.
Good value for the money January 8, 2009
I bought the friction mount for my garmin GPS because I didn't want to attach the GPS to my windshield. I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The mount is really stable, and doesn't move around on the dash while driving. It also lets you hide the GPS unit when it is not in use. Overall a good buy!

Dashboard mount was everything as described,shipping was quick,this mount is far superior to the suction mount from garmin. If you don't want a mount attatched to your window I would highly recommend this one.
Garmin portable friction dashboard is great January 8, 2009
I purchased one of these several months ago for myself. My daughter saw it on the dash of my car and said she would like one too. I bought her one for Christmas. It really stays put on the dash no matter how fast you turn a corner or stop. It is so much better than the windshield mount. I would highly suggest this to everyone no matter what kind of car you have. I have a Dodge Durango SUV and a Mustang GT convertible and it works wonderfully in both.
