Great September 1, 2008 Great product. Great price. No problems with assembly. No problems with use.
It's perfect. Just follow the directions! Don't be scared by negative reviews. March 31, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This enclosure works perfectly with the 8 foot Variflex trampoline. I really don't know why the other reviewers had so much trouble with it--maybe they didn't read the directions. Yes, the picture on the literature that comes with the enclosure shows 6 poles, but the instructions refer only to 4. Yes, 4 poles arrayed by themselves would make a square, but the it's the mesh netting--not the poles--that keep kids from falling off. Yes, there are gaps between the ties where the netting is secured to the trampoline frame, but that's why you cinch the cord up and under the trampoline frame (as explained in the directions). The other reviews almost scared me into NOT buying this enclosure. I took a chance and I'm glad I did; this thing does exactly what it's supposed to do. Don't be scared by the other reviews. It works perfectly if you follow the directions!!!
An outside product should not rust! December 16, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We purchased this product with the 8ft trampoline. The foam on the poles decayed to nothing and the poles themselves are all rusted! The knobs on the top that hold up the sides cracked causing the netting to continue to fall! We tried to get a refund for this product approximately a year after we purchased it, and were unable to, we even tried contacting the manufacturer who would not help us either. A trampoline is meant for outside use and therefore its enclosure should not waste away to nothing especially since the child who it is intended for uses it for therapy and is not aggressive with the product.
Waste of money May 31, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This trampoline enclosure does not fit the 8'Variflex trampoline at all. There are large gaps despite the tie down straps. Let me put it to you this way... the enclosure is in the shape of a square and on top of a ROUND trampoline it does not make for a good fit. Besides not fitting well...it is really not even needed.
Don't Buy this Enclosure March 15, 2004 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, what the buyer doesn't know is that this enclosure only works with the variflex line of trampolines. Not only do you not know that when you are buying it, but the directions state that you can call for special parts. When you call, you will be told that it won't fit your trampoline, because it isn't a variflex.
