last review misleading November 17, 2008
I bought this after reading the other review and chose a larger size than usual based on what they said - that was a mistake ! I am a small woman and it was too big. Order whatever size you normally wear.... it's a nice hoody, and yes, the hood is huge. It has a nice shape, but if you're looking for a super soft and cozy fabric - this isn't the right choice. it's just a nice stretchy cotton ( not the same fabric as their stretch cotton sweatpants )

This is a cute hoodie, more flattering than traditional style sweatshirts.
I expected the arms to be a little more full, I doubt I could wear a t-shirt underneath it without it bunching up.
The length is slightly cropped.
As with the matching wide leg pants I bought, the pocket seams ripped the first time I put my hands in them. I can't see where they ripped but probably will once they start to unravel.
The thing that really threw me off about this item is the actual hood. It's HUGE and somewhat shapeless, more like a cape. There is no drawstring, which would be nice otherwise. The hood is so big that when it is down it is half the length of the hoodie, when it is up it covers half of my face. It's a different look, but not what I expected.
Other than these flaws, it is very comfortable. The fabric is stretchy and light, and the wide wristband and waistband gives it a modern-retro look that is trendy and far from sloppy like what you may expect from a traditional style hoodie.
